Roy Williams and Kay Yow Basketball Camps for middle school students

The winners for the 2008 scholarships are:

 

Victor Burgess of Benson Middle School is the winner of the Roy Williams Basketball Camp scholarship.

 

Meredyth Albright of Ligon Middle School in Wake Forest and

 

 

 

Maya Muldrow of East Millbrook Magnet School in Raleigh.

 

 

 

The Roy Williams camp will be held is set for June 21 - 25, 2008.
The Kay Yow basketball camp is set for June 22 - 26, 2008.

The Roy Williams basketball camp for boys (held at UNC-Chapel Hill) and the Kay Yow basketball camp for girls (held at N.C. State) enable middle-school students in sixth through eighth grades to attend two of the most popular and admired basketball camps in the nation.  Scholarship winners will have all camp costs paid by Wake Electric.
The Touchstone Energy Basketball Camp Scholarship program is an expression of the electric cooperatives' historic commitment to the community on behalf of its 2.4 million North Carolina consumers.


Who Should Apply

Middle school students in sixth through eighth grades who reside in Nash, Granville, Wake, Durham, Franklin, Johnston, or Vance county may apply with Wake Electric. N.C. Touchstone Energy electric cooperatives throughout the state are participating in this exciting program.
