Monitor Your Energy Usage by Using Monitor & Manage
Wake Electric's Monitor & Manage program is an online energy monitoring system that utilizes our "smart grid" communications network to collect monthly, daily and hourly energy data reports from each home. This information is easily accessible to all members with an electronic SmartHub account, so they can make informed decisions about energy usage.
Wake Electric has exchanged all residential and non-demand electric meters across our service territory to Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meters, which make the Monitor & Manage technology possible. These upgraded AMI meters will help improve reliability, accelerate outage notification and enhance power quality monitoring in order to provide you the most reliable, safe and affordable electricity.
More importantly, the AMI meters allow you to have access to hourly usage data via Wake Electric's Monitor & Manage program. Through this innovative and state-of-the-art program, members have access to online energy usage reports, allowing them to better evaluate and manage their energy consumption.
You must have a SmartHub account to participate. In order to begin seeing your interval energy data, please click here to visit Wake Electric's Pay/View Bill Now. Follow the prompts to either establish an online account or sign into your existing account once it has been established (this link is also accessible from our home page, www.wemc.com).
Members can access SmartHub and can view and pay their bills online on their personal computers, as well as through their mobile smart phone devices and tablets. Once you establish an account, sign in to view information about the present status of your account(s), payment activity, etc. To view your usage, click on the MY USAGE tab.
For more information on how to navigate the Monitor & Manage program enclosed in the My Usage tab of your SmartHub account, please click on HELP in the upper right corner of the SmartHub online bill payment application. Other features of the SmartHub web application include the ability to view recent payments, bills and service requests, along with the ability to make electronic bill payments, and the ability to notify Wake Electric of an outage at your location.
