Today, July 16, is LAST DAY to sign up for paperless billing and be entered to win a $50 credit on your electric bill

Everyone's talking about "going green." At Wake Electric, we recognize that conserving our natural resources is an important responsibility that we all share. At the same time, we know that our members have busy lives and often don't have time to devote to being green.

That's why we're providing an effective way for you to go green and also save time each month by:

• signing up for an on-line account where you can view your bills any time and manage yor service
• and then calling a customer service rep to sign you up for both automatic bank draft and paperless billing.

And that's all there is to it! If you sign up between March 1 and July 16, 2010 you will automatically be entered into a drawing for a $50 bill credit. The drawing will be held in July and winners will be notified immediately. Winners also will be announced on-line at the end of July and in the Electri-Connection section of the Carolina Country in September.

Once you've done that, simply call our customer service department at 800.474.6300 or 919.863.6300 or email information@wemc.com. A customer service representative will make sure you are signed up for both bank draft and paperless billing.
