Who we are

Wake Electric is an electric utility providing reliable, safe and affordable energy and related services to 34,500 consumers in parts of Durham, Franklin, Granville, Johnston, Nash, Vance and Wake counties. We operate as a not-for-profit cooperative business and continually improve our services to meet the needs of our customers and enhance their quality of life.
